Qigong for the low back and kidneys. Since it is summer, we worked with the Water Element to bring some cooling. We continued to work with the kidney and bladder energy to nourish the low back and kidneys.

We practiced creating length and space in the spine. Strong roots anchored to the ground and branches and leaves drawn up to the sky.
Today we did some Blue Dragon movements to work with our tendons and connective tissue, especially in our arms and shoulders. During flows we practiced Gossamer Threads and Humble Warrior to open our hearts in gratitude.

45 minute class to transform stress and anxiety
This class was focused on opening the chest, neck, arms, and shoulders to open and strengthen the heart center. (The power went out about 20 or so minutes in, but came back.)

5 Elements Flow class; focus on opening up the spine and hips, moving with less effort. Water Element
Five Elements flow class with emphasis on the relationship between the elements and the Metal element.
This video begins a few minutes into class. During the opening, we did wrist movements to open the flow of chi through the joints of the hands and wrists along with some back and forth breathing and up and down breathing. Enjoy!
